Hi,I’m Yadvendra Sharan Specialized in Web Designing, Web Development, and teaching.

I was born in Roorkee, India, in February 1989. I have been working in administration in the Department of Earthquake Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, since 2017.

I completed my post-graduation (M.Tech.) from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, with Gold Medal in 2012. I also received the degree of B.Tech. from the College of Engineering Roorkee (Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow) in 2009.

In 2012, after completing my post-graduation, I started teaching in the Phonics Group of Institutions, Roorkee (Affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun), as an Assistant Professor for more than five years. As an assistant professor, I joined the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and held the position of Proctor and Head of Department. During the teaching, I taught “Fundamental of Electronics Engineering” in eight consecutive semesters of B.Tech. I also taught other subjects, e.g., Optical Fibre Communication, Radar & Navigation, Satellite Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Signals & Systems, Analog Communication, Microprocessors, etc.

In 2017, I also cleared and secured the second rank in the entrance exam for Ph.D. at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. But I could not get admission to Ph.D. After two months, I got an opportunity to join the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

At the IIT Roorkee, I have been involved in website designing & development. I am engaged in designing and developing the departmental website, various e-notice boards, e-display boards, e-learning portals, and departmental portal for the Department of Earthquake Engineering, IIT Roorkee. I also look after the social media presence of the Department of Earthquake Engineering. Apart from this, I’m also Staff In-charge of the Department’s Pseudo Dynamics Structural Test Facility and the Structural Dynamics Lab.

My area of interest is Web Developing, Digital Marketing, Blogging, learning new things, and teaching.
